Today's Mortgage Rates Rise Again 10-12-2016

By James Brooks

The bond market is down 5/32 (1.79%), which should push today's mortgage rates higher by approximately .125 of a discount point.

Next will be the minutes from the most recent FOMC meeting at 2:00 PM ET. These may move the markets or could be a non-factor, depending on what they say. The key points traders are looking for are concerns ov. ...

According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), inventory dropped 12.3 percent from November to December, falling to 3.8 percent lower than December 2014. That equated ...

Picture this: You’ve worked with your new seller for days to get her home ready for sale. She’s repainted, cleaned the carpets, and even worked with your favorite stager to rearrange and add some furniture. It’s nearly ready to hit the market, but first you need to take pictures.

Buyers rank home photos as the No. 1 valuable web site feature — even more valuable than the home descrm ...

Hendersonville TN on the move... More retail choices are coming soon.

There's already an array of retail venues and eateries in Hendersonville, but residents can expect to have even more choices with a number of new things set to come on board in the months ahead.
The old Hendersonville Skating Rink at 750 West Main Street is being repurposed with something that will spice up that area of town; a new restaurant called Blossom Thai-Lao Cuisine and Craft Pub - the city's first Thai and Laotian restaurant. House-made noodles and craft beer on tap are the specialties.
Fred Rogers, director of the city's planning department, said a portion of that building would also be used for a new service business.
Just down the road at Glen Oaks shopping center, a new twist on an old favorite will be available - Kohala Hawaii BBQ is set to open in Hendersonville. For more home decorating options, Nest Décor will also be coming to that center in the old Food Lion space.
Burger lovers will enjoy a new option in Indian Lake Village - Five Guys is coming to tos ...
